26 Hanuman Temples in Hyderabad I’ve Personally Visited – Reels & Locations

By Varun

I genuinely enjoy visiting temples across Hyderabad, and whenever I visit a Hanuman temple, I try to capture the experience through a Reel on my travel page, Varun.prayanam. Over time those visits added up, and this page is where I keep them together — 26 Hanuman temples in Hyderabad that I have personally been to, each with the Reel I made there and its location wherever a map link is available.

This is not meant to be a complete directory of every Hanuman temple in Hyderabad. There are temples I have visited without filming, and many more I still want to see. A temple appears here only once I have actually visited it and have a Reel to share, so the collection keeps growing rather than being copied from a list somewhere.

The way I would use it is simple: watch my Reel to understand what the temple and its surroundings actually feel like, then open the location and plan your visit. Tapping a location opens Google Maps, and tapping a Reel takes you to my original Instagram post. Between them you get both the visual feel and the practical information you need before heading out.

Which Hanuman Temple Should You Visit in Hyderabad?

There is no single best Hanuman temple in Hyderabad that suits everyone, and I would be careful with any page that claims otherwise. What works for you depends on what you are looking for on that particular day.

Some people simply want a Hanuman temple close to where they are, which is why the location links matter more than any ranking. Others plan around an early morning darshan, or prefer a quieter temple where they can sit for a while. Some are looking for a well-known Anjaneya Swamy or Veeranjaneya Swamy temple they have heard about, and some arrive here after seeing one of my Reels and simply want to find that exact place. Convenience also counts — several of the temples in this collection sit close to a metro station or a landmark you already know, such as Khairatabad, Rasoolpura or Tukaram Gate.

So rather than ranking them, I would browse the collection below, watch the Reel of the temple that appeals to you, and then open its location. Timings vary from temple to temple and can change, so please confirm locally before you travel.

Find a Hanuman Temple in Hyderabad Near You

Hyderabad has Hanuman temples spread across almost every part of the city — from Abids and Khairatabad in the centre to Tadbund and Dr A. S. Rao Nagar on the Secunderabad side, and Jiyaguda, Sitarambagh and Red Hills on the older side of the city. If you are searching for a Hanuman temple near you, the easiest way to use this page is to look through the localities listed on the cards above and open the location button of the one closest to you; it opens straight in Google Maps with directions from wherever you are.

Because these are temples I visited myself, the collection reflects the routes I travelled rather than every neighbourhood in the city. If a Hanuman temple in your area is missing, it most likely means I have not been there yet — and it may well be added after a future visit.

Why I Started Collecting These Hanuman Temple Reels

This collection started for a very ordinary reason. I like visiting temples, and I noticed that most of what you find online about them is the same information rewritten again and again, usually by someone who has never been there. When I look up a temple before visiting, what I actually want to know is what the place looks like, how busy it feels and how easy it is to reach.

So I began filming a short Reel each time I visited a Hanuman temple in Hyderabad and sharing it on Varun.prayanam. Every Reel on this page is from a visit I actually made — nothing here is borrowed footage or a list copied from another site. That is also why I am careful not to publish timings, history or claims about a temple unless I know them first-hand.

The collection will keep growing. Whenever I visit another Hanuman temple and make a Reel from that visit, it gets added here in the same simple format: the temple name, its locality where I know it, the Reel and the location.
