About the 6 Subramanya Swamy Temples trip
The six Subramanya Swamy temples tour covers the six sacred abodes of Lord Murugan known as the Arupadai Veedu — Palani, Swamimalai, Thiruparankundram, Thiruchendur, Pazhamudircholai and Thiruttani — arranged in a travel order that keeps driving hours sane and puts you at each sanctum during the calmest darshan window.
Most groups attempt this circuit in a rush and end up standing in the longest queues of the day. We have walked this route ourselves, so the plan is built backwards from darshan timings: Palani before the hill heat sets in, Thiruchendur at the seashore in the early hours, and Pazhamudircholai slotted around its limited hill-access hours.
Travel, stays, transfers and darshan planning are arranged for you as one thoughtfully organised package, with clear package details shared before you confirm.
Trip Highlights
- All six Arupadai Veedu abodes in one continuous route
- Palani hill temple via winch or rope car with the queue timed for you
- Thiruchendur seashore darshan and a dip at the Nazhi Kinaru
- Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple slotted in on the Thiruparankundram day
- Abhishekam and archana bookings arranged in advance wherever permitted

Frequently asked questions about 6 Subramanya Swamy Temples
How much does the 6 Subramanya Swamy temples tour cost in total?
Package pricing depends on your travel dates, group size, class of travel and accommodation preference. Share your dates on WhatsApp and we will send the package details for your group.
Is the Arupadai Veedu yatra suitable for elderly parents?
Yes, with planning. Palani has a rope car and Thiruttani steps can be done slowly in the early morning. Tell us the age and mobility of each traveller and we adjust the schedule.
Can the circuit be done in fewer days?
Four days is possible if you skip Pazhamudircholai or fly one leg, but we generally advise against it — the driving becomes unpleasant and darshan turns into a checklist.
