Kukke Subramanya sits in a valley of the Western Ghats where Lord Subramanya is worshipped along with Vasuki, the serpent king. Devotees travel from across India for Sarpa Samskara and Ashlesha Bali — the definitive remedies prescribed for sarpa dosha and kalasarpa dosha.
Sarpa Samskara requires advance registration, a specific date allotment and a fast, and the ritual runs for most of the morning. This is not a walk-in temple visit, and the single biggest reason people return disappointed is arriving without a booked slot.

Adi Subramanya and return
Adi Subramanya darshan, optional Dharmasthala visit, then the return journey.
