About the Yadagirigutta trip
Yadagirigutta, now known as Yadadri, is where Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy is worshipped in five forms inside a cave sanctum. The temple was rebuilt in Krishna Shila black granite over several years, and the new structure with its towering gopurams and stone corridors is worth the trip on its own.
Devotees come specifically for relief from ailments and for the Nijaroopa darshan of the cave forms. Arjitha sevas such as Nitya Kalyanam and Sudarshana Narasimha Homam are booked through the Devasthanam.
This is a day trip from Hyderabad by any measure, and we plan it that way — comfortable transport, a registered seva and a darshan window that avoids the longest queues.
